| Description | 1954 French GP multi-signed program. Autographed inside on the driver page by Alberto Ascari, Luigi Villoresi & Prince Bira. Ascari and Villoresi both drove the official Maserati 250F, Bira a private one. It was the first time Ascari sat back in a Maserati since his almost fatal accident March 27 1949 at the Circuito da Gavea in Brazil. Fangio won this race in the Mercedes (first victory Mercedes in F1) followed by Kling (Mercedes) and Manzon in the Ferrari. Villoresi & Bira took 4th & 5th in the Maseratis. The program is in A- condition with worn covers but strong inside pages and bold pencil signatures. The cover has lovely artwork by Geo Ham. |
