| Description | 1948 Mille Miglia participant's booklet for the #117 Fiat-Siata 500 Spyder #SC001 750cc driven by Renato Ambrosini & Domenico Borgialli. Ambrosini was a driver of some success, having won the Liet Colle race and placing 2nd in the Coppa Michelin this same year. Inside the six page booklet, which lists the different fuel stops and has spaces for the verification stamp, it is blank, seeming to indicate the vehicle never made it to the first refuelling. Also included is an empty envelope which likely contained photos/negatives of the competitors and the car. Their is also a circular 4" hang tag marked 'Sorveglianza Percorso' (surveillance route). Race dated May 2, 1948 and won by Clemente Biondetti in Ferrari 166 s/n 003S.
