| Description | 1937 Bugatti signed "Laisser-Passer" document. A 4x6" pass filled in and signed by Mr. Pracht who was the "Account Chief" of the factory between 1909 and 1939. He signed this on 29/10/37. This document was to be given to the guard at the door of the factory in the aim to leave the factory with a Bugatti. The document gives the name of the driver (Pierre Marco, a pilot and employee of the factory, later director of the factory after Ettore's death in 1947), the registration of the car (1245 W 5, that was a temporary registration owned by the Bugatti factory), and the reason of the transfer (to search a "Loockeed" pump at Entzeim airport, near Molsheim). This is an interesting item for an aviation or a Bugatti enthusiast! |
