Description1901 Le Petit Journal newspaper. An illustrated 8 page supplement to the famous French newspaper showing one of the very first road races - Paris to Berlin (which occurred June 27-9 and was subsequently named VI Grand Prix de l'A.C.F.) It measures 12x17.75" and is in B+ condition with yellowing and some staining, but in overall great shape considering it's age. The main illustration by Yrondy shows the winning #4 Mors car of Henry Fournier who outlasted the Panhard, Renault, de Dion & Mercedes. Dated July, 14, 1901 and titled 'La Course Paris-Berlin'. You can frame and hang this early piece of motorsport history.
