| Description | 1944 Auto Avio Costruzioni Scuderia Ferrari war pass. This is an actual pass of a Scuderia Ferrari employee working during the Nazi's rule of Italy. This pass instructs any German troops to leave this person alone, and let him break the curfew, as he is an important member of the Nazi cause. This two sided pass measures approximately 5.5 x8” and is in excellent condition. The front of the pass has been signed and stamped by the colonel/commander and to the rear it has been signed/stamped by the battle commander. To further document this piece you will note an identical pass, only credited to a different Ferrari employee, is showing in the 2008 biography ‘L’E Andeda Acse – Sergio Scaglietti Una Leggenda Modenese’. What an amazing and rare piece of Ferrari history....the Factory was making ball bearings at the time! |
