| Description | 2003 Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore 'Juan Pablo Montoya' Prototype watch. This is the very first prototype for the Montoya series of watches. Only one of these was made in steel, numbered '000/000' to the rear and made to look like the eventual Platinum version. This special 45mm automatic watch is complete with service papers, letter of authenticity, and in excellent condition. If you collect A-Ps this is a special find. Keep in mind the series has been sold out for a while. As a reference point, the Titanium version sells for around $40K, the Rose Gold around $80K, and the Platinum around $100K. This one is rarer than all three! |
