| Description | 1950 Mille Miglia program. The Auto Club of Brescia official program. This newsprint was an official publication by the ACB and listed and depicted all of the entrants and drivers. It lists the start and end times/location/route, as well as the different classifications. Inside is an extensive listing of the classifications, participants, cars, start times, etc. 12 pages with some pencil highlights/notations. Italian text, measuring 10x14". The event was won by Giannino Barzotto / Marco Crosara driving Ferrari 195 S Berlinetta touring car s/n 0026M, seconded by Dorino Serafini in a 166 MM s/n 0038. Third place was taken by Juan Manuel Fangio in an Alfa 6C. Count Giannino Marzotto's finish was memorable. After a victorious thirteen hour drive he emerged from his car wearing a double breasted suit and a tie which matched the colour of his vehicle. He was the youngest driver ever to win the Mille Miglia. |
