| Description | 1950s Sergio Sighinolfi Ferrari helmet. Sergio was one of the best test drivers for Ferrari, who died in an accident between Modena and Maranello in 1956. He kept this helmet in Modena at Carrozzeria Scaglietti and as such after he passed on it remained with Sergio Scaglietti whom we acquired it from. This is a red hard helmet with cream stripe, leather liner and leather straps. Above you can see him in the Stanguellini. Sergio raced many sports cars including the Ferrari 125, 166 SC (at the 1949 Mille Miglia) & 750 Monza (1955 Targa Florio). |
