| Description | 1964-8 Jim Clark race suit. On offer is an original cream Hinchman uniform worn by Jim Clark at Indy around 1964 as well as during the Tasman Series between 1967-1968. There is also a photo of this suit being worn at the Trenton 200, in Trenton, NJ, a USAC race in September, 1964. According to Hinchman, only one of these Firestone suits was made with 'Jimmy Clark' embroidered on the chest, as most had the more formal 'Jim Clark'. This suit came from Cedric Selzer, one of Jim's mechanics and friends for many years. |
